Overcomers Outreach is a journey of hope!

Through applying the truth of scripture, working the 12-steps, and sharing in fellowship with other Overcomers, OO participants let go of past hurts, triumph over current problems, and learn to depend on God.

Overcomers Outreach is a bridge...

...between the traditional 12-step programs and the church. People who are searching for their Higher Power need Jesus. People who struggle with addictions, compulsions and codependency need 12-step recovery programs.

The Directory is updated monthly. Please check often for new listings and changes in days and times of meetings.

Welcome

Everyone is welcome at OO meetings

The support group participants, whatever their need, find the extra care and encouragement necessary to grow beyond the wounds of life's battles, the difficulties in family relationships, the bondage of addictive habits and behaviors, and the isolation caused by shame. OO meetings are filled with the faith, hope, and love that only God can provide through Christ.

Who attends OO meetings?

  • Church Members who need a safe place to share the truth about their lives - their problems, struggles, and recovery needs.
  • New Believers who still struggle with the consequences of sinful behavior - forgiven, but not forgotten and looking for a path to a changed life.
  • Active 12 Step Members practicing the 11th step, and seeking spiritual growth through Christ.
  • Visitors who have yet to trust Christ and may not feel comfortable in a formal worship service, yet they seek personal recovery in the anonymous support group environment of OO meetings. Countless visitors have come to OO meetings to seek recovery, and soon discovered the power of Jesus Christ and the salvation He offers.

OO meetings operate independent of the local church but within the Body of Christ.  OO recognizes and supports participation in the recovery community.

They provide Christ-centered, recovery support and fellowship for those whose quality of life has suffered due to problems such as:

  • codependency

  • addiction to drugs and alcohol

  • eating disorders

  • sexual addiction

  • pornography

  • gambling

  • addiction to spending & debt

  • attention deficit disorder

OO is a unique Christian fellowship that grew from one home Bible study in 1977 to an international network of  support groups. The vision that God put in the hearts of Bob and Pauline Bartosch, OO founders, has grown into an effective Christ-centered fellowship that spans America coast to coast and reaches around the world.
